Our passionate educators and teachers deliver the Early Years Learning Framework through World of Learning’s innovative play-based learning program, which covers key curriculum areas. Through our market-leading Individual Learning Plans and evidence-informed education programs, you can be sure your child receives the support they need to become a confident, resilient, and connected learner. Moorabbin is a warm, welcoming newly refurbished Centre with a homely feel. It is equipped with well-designed learning spaces and a beautiful outdoor space perfect for little adventurers. Bentleigh is a newly refurbished multi-level Centre where a mix of indoor and outdoor learning environments bring the exciting programs to life.
We pay our respects to the longest living culture and their Elders past, present and emerging. The Nursery team bentleigh east daycare are eager to share information about your baby’s day and their learning, preparing you and your baby for a smooth transition to your evening. Our planned indoor and outdoor nursery experiences continue with the chance for movement, games and more books and songs, with an afternoon snack provided. Your baby’s lunch times will suit their needs, and with our open-door policy, families are welcome to enjoy lunch/bottle time with your baby. Seven of Goodstart’s award-winning team members have returned from an international ‘Discovering Next Practice’ professional learning experience in New Zealand. We pride ourselves on our multicultural community, which includes children, families, and educators from over 33 countries, and we celebrate a wide range of cultures and traditions.

For those who don’t, there are more planned experiences to support development, most likely outdoors, or an excursion into the community to encourage social skills. From our nursery through to our government-funded Flying Start to School long daycare kindergarten program, we provide a place where your child’s learning and growth are celebrated. Our Pre-Prep families also have the opportunity to attend parent information sessions throughout the year, on topics such as learning about the Junior School Quartet, a Junior School tour and Prep readiness information. We also offer a comprehensive transition to school program in term four, for those Pre-Preps joining us at Oakleigh Grammar for Prep. Programs and activities run in this room need to be child, parent or family focused.

That’s why we developed our exclusive evidence-based learning journey from birth to age  five that helps children and families navigate through developmental stages from birth to school. Our learning framework gives families a clear picture of how we nurture learning and development, stage by stage. Oakleigh Early Learning journey is a boutique childcare and kindergarten for children from 12 weeks to six years of age.

Child and Family Hubs are valuable in improving the accessibility, quality and integration of early childhood services. The Oakleigh South Child and Family Hub provides many services to support the development and wellbeing of Monash's youngest residents and their families. Constructed by Simbuilt, Oakleigh South brings together a range of professional services to let families build ongoing relationships with maternal and child health services, playgroup facilitators and kindergarten educators under the one roof. If children would like to, or need to, there’s an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. If children don’t need to rest, our Flying Start to School learning program continues, where they can enjoy our outdoor space – this might include playing games in a group or working together on a construction project.

Oakleigh South Child and Family Hub is currently  the base for Ward Avenue Kindergarten's programs while its kindergarten facility undergoes construction throughout 2024. At Oakleigh Grammar Early Learning Centre, our Orthodox Christian values are embedded into our play-based curriculum. We are dedicated in imparting humility, aspiration, respect and kindness to our young learners through an array of positive and engaging experiences that aim to build the foundation of living an Orthodox Christian life.
It outlines the principles, practices and outcomes that support children’s learning from birth to five, including their transition into school. Guardian’s To BE Me and Flying Start to School programs are based on the EYLF to ensure every child’s development aligns with this framework. We hold the belief that early  childhood is a unique and precious stage that requires slowness, playfulness and wonderment. We also understand that the ELC is an exciting beginning for our young learners.
Once the enrolment form has been submitted, our friendly Coordinator will contact you to help finalise your child’s enrolment. Learning through play allows children to build their knowledge, develop confidence, and embrace curiosity. Afternoon tea is a time for children to come together in small groups and fosters a sense of belonging. Our team plans more opportunities for play, exploration, creativity and fun with friends, before coming together for afternoon tea, where the team supports their growing independence with opportunities to practice serving themselves. Children come together as a group and slow down to enjoy lunch, made by our in-house cooks, with an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax for children who want or need to.
