Different subsidies may also apply to the kindergarten or preschool programs, depending on the state you live in. Families eligible for the Child Care Subsidy can now access a minimum of 3 days per week of subsidised early learning and care.

Eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) in Victoria is based on several key factors, including your household income, your child’s age, the type of approved childcare service, and your family’s involvement in work, study, or volunteering. Both Australian citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply for the CCS. I have been an early childhood educator in the childcare industry for 30 years. I have an Advanced Diploma in Community Management and a Diploma of Community Service (Childcare) and have worked in varying settings such as the council, community-based, and corporations.
Oz Education centres in New South Wales are approved for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and participate in the NSW Start Strong program. Happy Valley Early Learning Centre provides centre-based care for up to 122 approved spaces.
