Absolutely, all our kindergarten teachers have a Bachelor of Education. Yes, proper nutrition is a priority at My Stars Kindergarten near Pakenham. Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year. These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without requiring families to provide documentation. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, The Learning Sanctuary is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. With four kindergarten rooms as well as maternal child health and allied health services, the centre provides 132 kinder placements. It is about fostering a joy of learning, celebrating children’s achievements, socialization and building self-esteem. We strive to offer high community involvement with opportunities for the children to get out and about in the local community as well as developing the partnership with the school. We are able to walk across the community in a group with our large stroller, visit the school library and have the chance to join in the group activities planned by our OSHC facility.
